GEARS OF LOVE

About

Gears of love is about a weighty sphere with a dash and wall-jump ability, that has to get through various hazards in order to get to the end of the level.

I am sharing this project in my portfolio because it’s my year 1 student project where I began ramping up my understanding of level design and had a very positive response on my level because of the flow and challenge it delivered.

Design site

It includes everything about my process for this short-term project as an aspiring level designer and first year student

Level 2

This level uses the Kishotenketsu method used in Japanese comics and poems which:
1. Introduces a concept.
2. Develop the concept.
3. Introduce a twist.
4. And finally, reach a conclusion. 
The concept I was introducing in this case was the dash mechanic.
